NEARLY 45 000 schoolgirl pregnancies were registered in the Eastern Cape over the past five years. This is according to statistics eleased by the provincial Education Department. Depar tment spokesma n Malibongwe Mtima said the total number of pregnancies over the period stood at a whopping 44 909. The Herald.
